Job Search Myth #2: The One-Page Resume Rule

Let’s bust another common job search myth:

Myth #2: My resume should only be one page.

Unless you’re early in your career, this rule is outdated. If you're mid-to-late career and have 10+ years of experience, a two-page resume is not only acceptable—it's expected.

What matters most? Clear storytelling. Showcase:

  • Career progression

  • Key results and leadership moments

  • Industry-specific skills

Don't shortchange your accomplishments to fit an arbitrary length.
